Summer Food Program for Kids
Nearly 30 million children participate in USDA’s school breakfast and lunch programs on an average school day. When school is out for the summer, kids lose access to these healthy meals, but they still need nutritious food to grow healthy and strong.
Thanks to a partnership with Arlington ISD and Y USA, the AMA YMCA offers summer nutrition options to help our children reach their full potential. For kids up to age 18 (and up to age 21 with disabilities).

The YMCA Returned to Vietnam!
Engaging Globally, Welcoming Locally
In March of 2023, a delegation of YMCA board members, local leaders, and volunteers returned to support the YMCA in Vietnam. As part of the YMCA’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Global Engagement initiative, this type of experience allowed trip participants from the greater Arlington and Mansfield community to gain a better understanding of one segment of the populace that we seek to serve.
