The Martial Arts program at the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA provides instruction in kicks, blocks, and punches for self-defense. We focus on teaching the tenets of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and Indomitable spirit while building strength and balance in a positive, can-do environment. We frequently address how and when to apply Taekwondo in the real world. We instruct students not just how to kick and punch but when to kick and punch. We love to see the confidence our students gain from our Martial Arts Program.
