Our keynote speaker for this year’s luncheon is Dr. Kimberly Cantu. Our theme and focus is on Youth Development “Empowering Youth: Lighting Up Pathways”. Bill & Shari Bowie Community Leadership Award

The Bill and Shari Bowie Community Leadership Award was created to honor and to sustain Bill and Shari Bowie’s legacy in the YMCA movement for years to come. Its purpose is to encourage volunteerism and to recognize, honor and appreciate community leaders who have made significant contributions through their donated time, talent and financial resources to our community.

Distinguished Volunteer Service Award

Presented to a volunteer or community member who has demonstrated extraordinary involvement and commitment to programs and leadership at the AMA YMCA.

Community Partnership Award

Recognizes organizations or groups that have demonstrated a commitment to the AMA YMCA’s mission and values. The awardee has supported the Y in initiatives that strengthen communities and foster inclusivity.
