Every few years, we conduct a Community Needs Assessment (CNA) to identify local challenges and opportunities. The results guide our YMCA and community partners in creating a plan to improve lives across our service area.

At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. The Y has listened and responded to communities’ most pressing critical social needs since our founding in 1844.
Periodically, we conduct a Community Needs Assessment to ensure that our YMCA, along with our community partners, understand what critical social needs exist here at home in the greater Arlington-Mansfield service area. Our goal is to take what we learn through this process and create a plan to improve the lives of everyone we possibly can.

Golf Tournament
The 2025 Annual Trinity Community Foundation & AMA YMCA Golf Tournament is on May 19, 2025. We continue to serve our kids and families by providing more Play Days in even more locations, by hosting community events like Seasons of Change Toy Drive, Haunt the Block and Cookies & Cocoa with Santa. The YMCA Returned to Vietnam!
Engaging Globally, Welcoming Locally
In March of 2023, a delegation of YMCA board members, local leaders, and volunteers returned to support the YMCA in Vietnam. As part of the YMCA’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Global Engagement initiative, this type of experience allowed trip participants from the greater Arlington and Mansfield community to gain a better understanding of one segment of the populace that we seek to serve. New & Updated YMCA Facilities
Recently, all three existing YMCA locations were updated with a modern look and improved amenities. Coupled with these major facility investments, the YMCA opened a brand-new state-of-the-art location at 78 Regency Parkway in Mansfield. If you haven’t visited us lately, come in for a tour!
