2025 Run for a Cure 5K
2025 Run for a Cure 5K – Mansfield, TexasÂ
An Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA and Texas Health Mansfield partnership
Cancer touches countless lives in our community, affecting not just patients but entire families and support networks. This October, join us for the Run for a Cure 5K—a vibrant, pink-themed celebration honoring cancer survivors, their loved ones, and the communities that stand with them throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
Whether you’re running for someone you love, celebrating your own survivorship, or showing solidarity with those fighting cancer, this event brings our community together for a meaningful cause. Registration is now open for this inspiring October event.
Can’t join us in person? You can still make a powerful impact! Support cancer survivors in our community by making a donation. Every dollar raised directly supports the Livestrong at the YMCA program, providing vital resources and support services for cancer survivors as they rebuild their strength and reclaim their lives.
Together, we run for hope, healing, and a future free from cancer.

Beyond physical recovery, the program creates a supportive community where cancer survivors connect with others who understand their journey. Specially trained fitness instructors—certified in both exercise science and cancer survivorship care—guide participants through safe, effective workouts tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
Available at YMCA locations nationwide, this program has helped thousands of cancer survivors reclaim their health, rebuild their confidence, and reconnect with an active lifestyle. Every registration and donation helps ensure this life-changing program remains accessible to cancer survivors in our community.
