Eric Tucker
President and Chief Executive Officer
Eric Tucker is a nonprofit executive and transformational leader with over 25 years of experience in the YMCA movement. Currently serving as President & CEO of the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA, Eric has spearheaded remarkable milestones, including launching international partnerships in Mexico, Peru, and Vietnam. His leadership has also fostered a high-retention staff culture and strengthened collaboration with over 114 nonprofit partners.
In addition to his local impact, Eric serves as Board Chair of the Texas State Alliance of YMCAs, advocating for state-wide initiatives and strategic growth across 22 YMCA associations.
Eric holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Springfield College and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Finance from Southern Illinois University. He is highly regarded for his expertise in financial management, community engagement, and organizational transformation. A proud Rotary member and recipient of multiple community leadership awards, Eric’s efforts empower communities both locally and globally.
Eric is happily married to Mimi and a proud father of four daughters. Together, they enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling, and exploring culinary experiences as self-proclaimed foodies.
Lindsy Fernandez
Chief Financial Officer
Lindsy Fernandez is the Chief Financial Officer of the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA. Before joining the senior leadership team in 2014, Lindsy was the Director of Finance at Make-A-Wish North Texas and an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Texas Tech University.
Cory Brazeal
Senior Vice President of Operations
Cory Brazeal is the Senior Vice President of Operations for the Arlington-Mansfield YMCA. Cory has an extensive background in sports programming and management beginning with his time working for the NBA’s Hoop it Up World Tour. Starting his YMCA career at the age of 15 as a youth basketball official, Cory worked for both the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas and the YMCA of Metropolitan Forth Worth before moving to Arlington in 2009.
Cheryl McCarver
Senior Vice President of Global and Local Engagement
Cheryl’s passion and vision for improving domestic and global health have been reflected across her career. Her prior professional roles include Chief Impact Officer for Community Council of Greater Dallas and the Vice President & Executive Director of the Health & Wellness Alliance for Children, a nonprofit organization established by Children’s Health System of Texas to improve the health and well-being of children.
Shawanna Antonie
VP of Human Resources
Shawanna Antoine has dedicated over two decades to the Arlington-Mansfield YMCA, starting in 2002 and progressing through a range of roles. As the current Vice President of Human Resources, Shawanna is passionate about creating a positive, inclusive work environment that reflects the Y’s core values of community, wellness, and social responsibility.
With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration, Shawanna combines her academic expertise with years of hands-on experience to drive initiatives that support both staff and organizational growth. She’s deeply committed to empowering others and fostering a culture where everyone thrives.
When she’s not leading HR efforts at the Y, Shawanna enjoys family time with her husband and three children, traveling, and making memories with friends. Her personal and professional life is fueled by a love for building strong connections and giving back to the community.
