The Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA will open its newest location during the first week of January in Kennedale! Designed for everyday wellness, youth development, and neighbors connecting with neighbors, the YMCA will bring programs and services to the Kennedale community.

This expansion into Kennedale is more than a new YMCA—it’s about building a true community hub for families and neighbors. In partnership with the City of Kennedale, the Y will manage a multi-field sports complex, creating opportunities for youth soccer, flag football, and baseball. The YMCA already has deep roots in Kennedale, offering programs in KISD schools, at Fellowship Academy, and through summer camps and swim lessons at Hammock Creek Apartments. The new facility will build on this foundation, serving as a flexible space where local organizations can gather, collaborate, and grow together.

Planned Programs & Services Include:

• Fitness center, group exercise rooms and indoor running/walking track
• Youth sports (soccer, flag football, baseball, and more)
• Multi-Purpose Space
• Childcare services and Child Watch
• Art (Including Pottery/Ceramics) & music studio
• Workforce development, including English as a Second Language (ESL)
• Health & wellness programs such as blood pressure self-monitoring and hydromassage
• Teen leadership and family engagement opportunities
