Outreach Programs
Through community health resources, food distribution, ESL classes and more, we are able to help bridge the gaps within our area.
Play is essential to the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being of every child. Our Play Days program brings structured fun, physical activity, and positive mentorship directly into local apartment and mobile home communities throughout Arlington, Mansfield, and Kennedale.
We believe kids deserve the chance to simply be kids — to run, laugh, build friendships, and feel safe. At the same time, we recognize that families benefit from access to trusted resources and meaningful connections. During each Play Day, we provide engaging activities, games, and enrichment opportunities while also sharing important community resources that strengthen families.
More than just a day of fun, Play Days builds trust, fosters fellowship, and creates a consistent, caring presence in neighborhoods where it matters most. Through partnership and purpose, we are helping create stronger kids, stronger families, and stronger communities.

Check back here for more information on upcoming drives.

Get Involved
Togetherhood is a volunteer-led community service and social responsibility program.  Â
The Y’s Togetherhood program connects people from all backgrounds to plan and carry out volunteer projects that address a real need in their community. It is designed to unlock people’s potential to improve lives and create a more connected society. Â
Benefits of Volunteering:Â
For the volunteer: Volunteering can improve personal well-being, build relationships, and provide an outlet to discover purpose.Â
For the community: Bringing diverse people together to tackle social issues creates more cohesive communities. A culture of volunteerism can also yield social benefits such as lower unemployment, greater income equality, and youth that are more likely to stay in school and avoid risky behaviorsÂ
We collaborate with community organizations such as TransformUs Movement, Inc., The Miracle League, Cancer Care Services, and Trinity Community Foundation to strengthen our impact and extend our reach. We will offer projects for services in our community that are well-planned and provide you with the best volunteer experience possible and to provide our community with meaningful services.Â
All volunteers are required to complete the following forms. You may download the forms, complete them and turn them in at any of our Y locations.Â
