Cheerleading at the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA is a great way for youth ages 5-12 to build confidence and character while developing social skills and healthy relationships with other children! Participants will learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic motions, jumps, cheers, & chants and put their skills to practice.

2019 Fall Season II: November 2-December 14

Location(s): Region-wide
Ages: 5-12
Member Priority Registration Begins: September 1
Non-Member Registration Begins: September 8
Late Registration Begins: September 26-September 30 ($10 late fee applies)
Practice Begins: Week of October 21
Season Begins: November 2
Season Dates: 11/2, 11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 12/7, 12/14 (Skips 11/30 due to Thanksgiving holiday)
Season Break: November 25-30
Rain-Out/Make-Up Dates:
December 21

Cost: $29 for members (supply fee), $89 for non-members (become a member and save!)
What’s Provided: Practice and venue locations
Equipment Needed: $110.00 one-time uniform fee that includes a customized shell top, skirt, briefs, poms set, and hair bow

Participants:
– Learn the fundamentals of cheerleading, including basic motions, jumps, cheers, & chants
– Have one practice a week (day & time TBA) coached by a knowledgeable & dedicated staff
– Cheer at various YMCA sports programs and community events

 

2020 Winter Season: January 18 – February 22

Returning Cheerleaders – Sunday, December 8
